I was surfing in this web page when i found out this page. I am schooloing in the FRench SChool of Lagos and i have to de a research about the reasons, the consequences and the impact of the Biafra War. Can you help me by sending some informations, preferably before tuesday 30th January. Thanks in advance.
: I enjoyed the pictorials about the biafra war in your web page. I was one of those starving children, and my family used to be one of those starving people you posted. Never mind all is well now, obviously. One important aspect of that war we nigerians have always left out is the ethnic cleansing of the boarder poeple of the old southeastern nigeria (the old cross river state) by the boardering igbo people of ohofia, ngwah, etc., that took place during that war. I know of this first hand because I was an eye witness, at age 3, to the massacre of the Biakpan, Ikwun and the ibibio people. You don't have to take my word for it, research it, and you will find the facts. Most Nigerians who are not from the area have no knowledge of this, but that is no excuse to not reckon with it.
: Any how, I think we Nigerians better know about this issue and deal with it as soon as possible. The skulls of the death are still evident in most of the mass graves. My kids know about them.
: I don't mean to be insightful but it's an issue we all need to know about. I love your web page, good job.
: Love, Naija
